[ 081603 ] A little history lesson: in 1997 a young man had a dream,
he would fix computers.
He realized that dream with a venture called: The Computer Guy.
Many systems, a few lessons, and some upgrades later a name change was decidedly in order
-- and thus was born CG Systems. Having had experience building systems since early Pentium
IIs has resulted in good choices, bad choices, and good technology that just never took off.
Most of all though, it's given experience.
I've learned to be able to judge a persons needs and build a computer for those needs.
I must admit I only set out to build the fastest and best for as little as possible, but
where it's cut corners or get a good part and spend a little more -- I'd rather not be
called back to service it later on. It saves everyone in the long run, mainly in time
and aggrevation to have good parts from legitimate manufacturers.
Where it may save $5 today, you might be hunting for drivers on a Japanese web site if they
go bust in 6 months.
